Shoes-es!!!

  • While walking around UP
  • Dino: God, Babe, ang bagal mo.
  • Me: Gimme some credit, yesterday I even walked with my 4-inch platforms and I moved faster than you did. I thought yesterday was my last trip here, can you please tell me why are we here again?
  • Dino (changing the topic): You have slippers with you right? Why are you wearing the one I gave you, alam mong umuulan. Siguro, gusto mo na masira yan para I'll get you a new one!
  • Me: Ha, thankyouverymuch for that idea. And besides, kahit di masira, you'll still buy me a new one diba? Oh, this is better! One for Halloween, which is different from my birthday gift though it fell on the same day, and another for Christmas. Yes? YESSS! Thank you so much, love!
  • Dino: Sure! One shoe for Halloween, the other pair for Christmas.
  • Me: Huh?
  • Dino: O sige, you want pa for New Year?
  • Me: Yup!
  • Dino: Yung box nung pair na ibibigay ko for New Year. Ayan, three occasions, 2 shoes-es. Hindi 2 pairs of shoes ha, but TWO SHOES-ES with the box! In short, just ONE pair of shoes in a box!
  • Me (frustrated): K. But, I'm telling you as early as now, you'll eat your words and I'll still get 2 pairs of shoes not TWO FREAKIN SHOES-ES, wherever that word came from. And Babe, please, I dont wanna hear that word again.
  • Dino: What word? SHOES-ES! SHOES-ES! SHOES-ES! Hahahaha!
  • Me: Ugh, hopeless.

Syrup Sling Pumps. Oh how I love the story behind this pair. When my eyes found this baby, I immediately fell in love with its simplicity and beauty. So I asked for my size (size 6), but unfortunately, the sales lady said they don’t have my size anymore, but they still have 5 and 7. After fitting both sizes, I told myself I can settle for a 5 since it’s a slingback and I believe I can fit my feet in an inch-shorter pumps since I really like it that much. I was not totally decided though if I should get it or not, so I left the store and gave myself some time to think about it. So after going around the mall, I went back to People Are People. LO AND BEHOLD!!! Size 5 (display size) was gone. I told myself it wasn’t for me. But I did not give up right away. So last try, I assumed what was displayed was size 7 then slipped my foot in. WTH. It wasn’t 7. It was a 6!!! At first, the sales lady irritated me, telling me they don’t have a 6 anymore, but anyway, thanks to that girl who got the size 5 while I was lurking around the mall. So I asked for the other pair, ran immediately to the counter and paid for it. Guess what, it only cost me P599.00 cos it was on sale for about 60%, Im not really sure. Great buy! I love how these cheap camel pumps look like something in between a Louboutin sling sans the red soles and a YSL Tribute pumps. More than that, I got it half the price or even more than half! Lucky me!

Green Espadrilles. I love my new espadrilles! I’ve been wearing it for the past 3 days already. It’s so comfy and cute at the same time! The best part of it is that it’s so cheap I wanna buy all available colors! While Dino and I were waiting for the screening of Despicable Me, we were walking and strolling around the mall for about 10 hours (exaggerated) 2 hours and my feet didn’t hurt a bit, aside from the fact that I never get tired strolling around a mall. Actually, the only reason that I bought it is its color. I love how green it is, I mean its shade. I never thought I’d fall in love wearing it as well! Great buy, for only P350-400 a pair (depends how good you haggle), definitely!
